We are excited to bring birth options to Grand Rapids with the first Out of Hospital Birth House! Why we call it a Birth House vs a Birthing Center- We created a comfy, cozy, homelike atmosphere for moms, partners, and babies, we did not want to be confused with the “Birthing Centers” at area hospitals. We are what most would consider a “Out Of Hospital Birthing Center” but that is a mouth full. So to simplify things we refer to it as The Birth House. The Birth House has 2 complete birth suites; as well as a small, European style kitchen. Located at 802 Merritt, the house is centrally located within a few minutes of Spectrum Hospital downtown and the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

Postpartum visits 24-72 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks
Inviting, cozy, homelike atmosphere
Bedroom, bathroom, access to small kitchen
Not included: purchases of small birth kit, placenta encapsulation, ultrasounds, labs. Labs are an additional fee and may be done onsite.
